Saving YouTube videos from Safari 6.0 (Mountain Lion)

I currently download YT videos in Safari 6 by grabbing the videoplayback link via Web Inspector, opening it in QT and then saving it. This works fine, but...

MacTubes, a standalone app, doesn't work anymore, neither do extensions that used to work in Chrome since I upgraded to ML.

Is there a faster way other than the way I'm currently doing so now? Is there a way to download in Chrome?

I am guessing that Google made downloading more restrictive and also made Apple close some loops as well in ML?

Download firefox and use keeptube or any of the others

BTW, Analyzr 1.4 worked until YouTube changed some code. They do this every six to nine months. 1.4.1 fixes this and again restores the ability to download. YouTube5 had to have the same sort of process done.
