You think this guy would make for a good instructor?

Nico Bollini, copies golf swings very convincingly. It's unbelievable how he makes good contact in all different ways and I struggle to do it *one* way. You'd think someone like this would make for a pretty good teacher. From what I can tell, he is making solid contact, no?

You being able to copy a good swing does not make you a good instructor.  You being able to get a variety of students to develop a swing that will both work and be repeatable for them. Makes you a great instructor.  JMO

I'd have to agree with VegasRenagade about what makes a good instructor. If the instructor reaches the student and gets them to see what they are working toward, then the prospect of improvement will inspire them to do the work to get there. There is nothing to indicate that this fellow has that ability here.

As for the imitations of swings...is it really the swing that is being imitated or is it the pre and post shot behaviors that are the hallmark of the various golf luminaries? I don't have an eye that is attuned to the details of the positions in the swing.

It's not just the routine. The swings if you put them side by side with the original I think would look nearly the same. I think that illustrates he understands the swing, and swing motions. Or maybe he's just talented that way. Someone who can visually remember a swing and then reproduce it - many of these traits are found in good teachers no?

Understanding why the player might do certain things and how those pieces might effect their game is part of being a good teacher imo.  Example is how Monty and Trevino align their body to the left and hit slight fades.  Lehman keeps his hips closed a long time, banks his right foot and draw everything.  Elk has his club face aimed way right at set-up, helps him match the path so he doesn't hit over draws.  Elk has the handle high at address, Rickie Fowler has his hands low, how does that effect the way the club loads, etc.  Obviously the funny part that Nico is doing are just quircky personal traits.  Being a good teacher is about communication, demonstration can be an important part as well, but not necessarily copying another player's exact motion.

Got to watch Nico recently and he hits it really nice.  His tendency is to get too much Zach Johnson on the backswing, reverse hips slide and he'll overdraw balls.  So to get the pivot more centered he thinks of Colin Montgomerie's backswing (below).  Not the arms but the way the hip girdle moves.  You can see even for Nico, feel isn't real I think Nico just left for Asia to play over there for a few months.  Really nice guy.

His Peter Senior's off, and the two he did best were Payne and Monty and they have very similar swings. I don't think this proves anything (nor does it disprove anything) about how well he understands the golf swing.
