Same here. Many birdies but never enough to offset the many bogies, doubles and others that come in the same round! I think I've had at least one eagle putt but no dice.

I'd be happy with more pars...

My first eagle was when I was probably 14 or 15 years old. Holed out from about 170 yards on a par 5. I have since made a few eagles, mostly from putts on par 5's but also holed one out on a par 4 from about 150 yards. Never have made a hole in one though.

It was yesterday - 500 yard Par 5

Driver

choked 3w

15 foot Chip (PW)

stats - Fairway hit.....GIR.....Putts = 0

two holes earlier I shanked an approach on a Par 4 and left 110 yards - holed that out for birdie.  pretty neat to see the ball disappear from that far away, but the Eagle is the big win - been hunting all season for my first.

my first eagle was a few years ago. I was playing a local course where the 1st hole is ~280yrds par4. The tee shot is blind and the green slightly to the left behind some trees but the fairway will feed all shot towards it. The kind of hole where most people would hit a driver and maybe once or twice a year hit the green due to luck of the bounce.

Anyway i hit a driver downwind and my ball was ~15ft on the green and i holed my straightish putt for the eagle.

About 4 years ago, third shot on a par 5.  Two bounces, in the hole, from 100 yds out.  That was my first.  5 since then, including 3 holes in one ( all in the last 10 months).

Got my first one on Wednesday evening, was absolutely loving it!

Par 5

- Decent drive down the middle

- 2nd shot 5iron to the green, missed the green onto the 1st cut

- SW chip shot rolled a long way and went round the outside of the hole and lipped back in!

What an awesome feeling it was!

I had been playing for a year, probably 11 years old, and had been known for my distance. It was a big dogleg left with a peninsula green. I was playing the ladies tees.(was maybe driving it 200.) I borrowed my friends brand new g20 driver and hit the first draw of my life around the corner and left myself 120 in. At this point I was freaking out that I could get an eagle and I thing the adrenaline kicked in because I hit a perfect shot right over the flag but about 40 feet long. At this point I realized I probabably wasn't going to get an eagle so I was just trying not to 3 putt. It was a super fast downhill putt and I started it online and about halfway through I was like. Hey this is going in, anyway it did and that was amazing for me because It would take me another year to break 50 and I hit 3 of my best shots so far. I got my second eagle two days ago. Hit 3 wood off the tee and had 240 left into the wind. Water all down the left side and short left. I hit a low spinning 3 wood. Carried it 250(no idea how that happened.) and used the slope to role it back to 4 feet. Hope for many more!

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.
    • Day 123 12-13 Rotation and getting to lead side work. Recorded face on. Hit a few foam balls but did plenty of rehearsals today.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
