Lurker comes out of the woods

Hi all,

I've been lurking on this site for years, and finally decided to join in. I don't have a lot of time to be real active in the forum, but hope I can make some positive contributions.

I've been playing for about 15 years now, but swung my first club when I was 39. I don't play enough in a year to really ingrain anything and didn't want to waste $$ on lessons when I knew I wouldn't be able to follow up with dedicated practice. I've self taught my way down to high 80's/ low 90's, with a lowest round of 83. I also have been known to blow up, but that's getting rarer as I get smarter with taking my medicine after hitting bad shots instead of trying for a miracle.

Anyway, be merciful.

Welcome here. I joined a few years back, but as you can see from my post count, I am not that active either. Sometimes I have time or I read something that I just have to respond to.
