Aspiring tour pro needs a bit of help and advice

I suggest you talk with businessmen who play golf in your hometown and who are wealthy -- golf nuts probably wish they had the opportunity to be a pro, and are more likely to help a player - I would develop a business plan, costs per year, what you would contribute, what you needed, percentage of earnings you would repay, etc.

Reminds me of Derksen a Dutch pro who needed financial support during his first years as a pro. He started a fund you could enter. The investors were paid by his tour-earnings. And because Derksen was succesfull they got their money back.
