What club do you prefer?

If you could choose any club to hit on the fairway, what would it be? Doesn't matter about the distance to the pin. Mine would be my 3 wood, love the sound and distance.

6 iron,not sure why, just like the way it looks in the air.

7 Iron, because even my mishits go good with this club.  I like to use it around the green for bump and runs too.

right now it is my 9 wood, but that will be subject to change after the eventual 1 bad round with it

Pitching wedge. All the weight and heft make me feel like Hercules, it's hard to mishit much, and I can fly it very accurately. I don't have to swing hard; in fact, a 3/4 swing is 90% distance with a more piercing flight. Plus there's a nice thump and a divot involved, and if I'm listening carefully I can hear the ball spinning. The overall sensation is really nice and it's easy to play.

Off the tee though, 3 iron without a doubt.

Whatever club gives me the best chance to be pin high on the green.  I'm confident with all my irons so I can't name one in particular I'd prefer to hit.

I just got a new sand wedge and after today I don't think I can ever use my pitch wedge again . Anything under 100 yds it was money if I was 15 off the green I used my chipper and pretty much landed under 5 ft from the pin

I dont know that I have a favorite club.  You have to be good with all of them and hit them all well if you are going to score well.

Given a choice from the fairway, I prefer any of my 4 wedges because I might hole-out or knock it stiff.   it's not that I don't have confidence in my longer clubs.....but given a choice.....put a wedge of any kind in my hand and it's a birdie opportunity.   Give me a 5 iron and I might hit the green..........but I like my chances of stiffing a shot with a wedge better.........LOL

My favorite clubs in the bag are my wedges and putter. (scoring clubs)....this should be the case for every golfer.
