I finally bit the bullet and got fit for my irons. I have a set of CG4 Tours that I knew had the wrong shafts for my swing but didn't have the funds to make the change until now. To make a long story short, I have a swing speed in the mid-80s with a six iron and the shafts on my CG4 Tours was an ActionLite Regular Flex. I was told by the club-fitter that these weren't stiff enough and that Rifle 6.0 was the way to go so I pulled the trigger.

I've never played Rifle shafts before so I have no idea if I'm going to be happy. Anybody out there have an opinion on Rifles?

I have liked mine. The 6.0 is about the same as the DG S300, but it really does a good job of keeping the short irons down a bit and helping to get the long irons up a bit. They're "flighted" shafts, after all.

I heard nothing but good things about them from the different guys on my course.

I'm solely an Rifle guy and use 6.0's. My swing speed was a little closer to high 80's with my 6 iron and 105 with the driver. I had 6.5's and had a loss of distance, so I went down to the 6.0 and found a little better feel. Great shaft.

i have project x 6.0, which i guess is a little stiffer than normal rifle 6.0, but so far i have nothing but praise for them. Ive hit the normal rifle flighted on my friends irons and they seemed good too. good luck with the shafts.
