I recently switched over to the superstroke slim 3.0, anyone on here have one? I really struggled with feel the first few rounds but it seems to be coming around. Anyone have this similar effect ? I'm about a 14-15 handicap

I needed a few holes actually to get the feel off the speed again

I switched to the Superstroke Fatso 85. I have huge hands, and it has really, really made a HUGE improvement in my stroke.

After getting used to it, I went back to Golftown and bought 5 more, in case they changed or discontinued the model. Put one on my Seemore (the original black one I bought), one Green on my Scotty Cameron, and put spare blue, Black and Red ones away in the closet for the future.

Im OCD when I find something that I feel is head and shoulders better than everything else on the market, and overstock things, like Penta TP5's, these Fatso Grips, and Golf Pride 2G Tour Wraps.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

Super Stroke 3.0 on my putter a few weeks into this season. I think it helped me right away. I feel my hands are quieter. Lag putting got better first time out. It is not magic but it is great for me. I still can push and pull putts -- and did.

Now I am changing my stroke and my putter to the Seemore putter and technique (bad weather since I got it last week has me yet to take it on the course -- just basement and practice greens. I was a forward press guy, with ball toward the front foot, and I also released my arms more than the club head sort of pushing the club down the target line. So, this is a big change for me. I have a 3.0 on that putter too. Again, more than ever I'm trying to keep wrists out of stroke and I think this Super Stroke 3.0 helps. I also like that the 3.0 does not add weight compared to most "regular" putter grips.

My only beef is that even the 3.0 does not fit great in my Titleist Lightweight Cart bag putter well (can't imagine the 5.0). It fits going in fine, but can get snagged when retrieving it. Maybe the blunt end of the grip is more of a factor than the thickness. I think the cart strap and items in pockets can push into the well. If that putter well had a more rigid tube, it would be fine.

Not sure why you struggled. If you were using your wrists, I can imagine this grip makes that feel funny. One tip I discovered is that I can, and should, hold this grip very lightly.

Superstroke slim went on my scotty golo 5 when i bought it, it took a few rounds to get used to it. On long putts I felt i could just slam it so I was short a lot just holding back. I also found I am much straighter and don't get the hand twist I would get once in a while. I feel this has really improved my putting, much more confident since I have put a little time on it.

If you put this on a new putter you are not used to, I think it is a much easier transition then maybe a person that put it on a putter they have used for a long time, but just IMO of course.

My son hates it so it is not for everyone, it is like any other piece of equipment you have to get used to it.

Yeah I have played 5 rounds with it and have improved every time. It was just way different and takes some getting used to. I couldn't get the feel at all on long putts but its all coming around. Thanks for your advice. What is ur guys hcp?

Ya it is coming around on the long putts for me to, just need to put the time in.

As for my HC not realy sure, I play for the fun of it and only keep score half the time due to the inconcistancy I have been having. Couple weeks ago on a 9 hole 2 over last week a 93 on 18, So on any given good day can be in the 80's on a bad day working on my swing issues it is all over the place.

Was in the high teens for a while god only knows what is today.

UPDATE: Putter with SuperStroke 3.0 works in putter well now.  I figured out how to strap my Titleist Lightweight Cart Bag to the cart so that the putter well is not impeded. Instead of looping the cart strap through the carry handle (the logical way), I now strap it above that handle and it works fine. I still need to be careful pulling the putter out of the well since there is a lip near the top of the well that can catch the Super Stroke 90* edge. But moving the strap lets that well have its full size.

Just put a slim lite 3.0 on my putter and am going to try it out in two days. Looking forward to using it hoping it helps me as my putting has slowly become the worst part of my game. Looking at my stats I average almost 33 putts a round. I hit almost 2/3 of my greens so I get a lot of two putts but I miss a lot of putts inside 4-10 feet. Thought this might help me roll more into the cup inside that 10 foot length.

I've been using a Mid-Slim 2.0 for a several months now and really like it!  I'm sure it "quiets" the wrists some, but for me it has really added a lot of overall comfort to simply holding the putter; I like that the grip seems to fill my hands.  The whole thing feels more solid.

I'm still not a great putter, but I do feel like I am better with this grip.  It didn't seem to take much time for it to feel "right" for me.

Mine also snags coming out of the putter well sometimes.  I've mostly learned to pull it out slow and the problem isn't so bad.
