About 4-5 years ago, the Euro Tour had some serious talent and was rivaling the PGA. But that has all but been to put to rest since all the top Euro guns have now come over to the States (i.e. Rory, Westwood, McDowell, Schwartzel, Kaymer, etc.). Euros still have a few good players on that tour that I would like to see jump over...Mannassero, Uhlein, Olesen, Grace.

I assume a guy like Peter Uihlein would like come back to the States and play the PGA Tour but it is harder for Euro Tour players to jump over now that Q School only gives you a spot on the Web.com Tour.  A merger or purchase of the Euro Tour would give the PGA Tour a more obvious way to make the transition easier- i.e. give the top Euro Players a spot in the Web.com Tour Finals.
