Global Golf Closeouts - just got Adizeros for $110

It's cool they had such a big sale, however, I wouldn't ever pay that much for a shoe. I'm just a cheapskate like that though.

I'm a deal hunter but I'm also a guy who loves his shoes.  Currently my white/tan FJ's (my only white pair of golf shoes) are 4 years old.  I will still wear them as I keep them looking new, but there's something about the adidas that felt awesome.

My last pair of golf shoes were a pair of $30 dunlops I wore until the leather was worn out. I splurged on my new ones because they were on sale for $50, some nike saddle 2's. I'm the same way with any shoes though. I can never get myself to pay much for shoes or clothes, which is a by product of growing up pretty poor I guess.

And the $22 I spent on next day air is a waste.  Looks like the order was placed 15 minutes after the cutoff for same day delivery.  Cutoff is 11:00am central to ship same day.  He won't budge.  So I don't get them on Friday for my weekend rounds, I get them Monday.

Talked to customer service and it turned out that they can't work with me.  Interesting.  Bookmark bar has been modified accordingly.

Looks like they've been nice enough to cut out shipping charges for the order to make up for my lack of precise timing. They've earned themselves a customer for a very long time. Cheers global golf!

For anyone who is interested in Global Golf's customer service.  The next day air fee was waived, AND the shoes shipped out that Thursday (4:15pm so they must've done something special) to arrive at my place Friday afternoon, just in time for the weekend rounds.  A+ and looking forward to restoring their rightful place in my bookmark bar.
