Have a nice cart bag but want to walk

I got a nice Callaway golf bag that's cart style a couple years ago before I was serious about golf or knew what I was buying

It stands up OK on most turf but has tipped over. I'm pretty strong so carrying it isn't that big of a deal

Should I use it or try to find some kind of stand for converting cart bags to walking bags? Or should I just sell it and buy a lighter bag with a built in stand for walking the course?

I have a ping cart bag as well as a hoofer carrying bag. I find it easy to switch my clubs from one to the other, usually will wait and clean the clubs and transfer. Its been raining so much that it is almost faster to walk than to do the cart path only.
Imo I would buy a new carrying bag. After 18 holes you will find it easier to have a double strapped bag that is smaller than a cart bag.

If you want to carry your bag, then sell the old and buy new. My recommendation would be ping (though i do not own one). I would definately not buy a walter hagen carry bag. If you have questions of bags, feel free to ask me as i do know a lot about them.
If you do not want to carry your bag but want to walk, just get a cart thing. I do not know much about these, but they work.

I have an Ogio... whatever. Atlas comes to mind. It's done all I could ask of it. It's reasonably stylish, has good sized and accessible pockets, individual slots for clubs (and a 15th for... a ball retriever? I dunno).

You have mostly Callaway clubs. The bag I have is a great looking black-on-black Callaway that's very comfortable. Retailed for $170 when I bought it a couple years back and in great shape.

I have an Ogio Octane (I'm pretty sure that's what the model is) and it is extremely light and has a nice organizer system as well as a lot of pockets.

I have an OGIO Grom bag and it's the best bag I've used. I've had a Cart Bag and I have a Mizuno stand bag. I just find myself using the OGIO bag every time.

      Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.

      Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.

      Maybe there's something I still don't understand about the situation. Wouldn't Texas Tech do itself a favor to move on from Sorsby at this point?
