Would Rio Vista be out of the question? Spanos is a decent track on 8 mile drive north Stockton.

Yeah, it's no farther to get there than Fairfield and I could take rural roads most of the way.

Let me know when it is, I'm due back up in the Bay Area sometime before the Summer is over in CA. September is better for me.

September will be fine, it's just I would really like to see at least 4 or prefer to have 8, as far as course I suggested Trilogy in Rio Vista is okay but it has to be early morning or else the wind is crazy, also Spanos in north Stockton is decent as well, honestly I don't really care where it winds up being I just would like to finally see us northern CA guys put an outing together.

Trilogy has lots of houses surrounding fairways, greens. Talk about a place where not hitting houses takes serious precision. If its easy access from San Jose, i'm good.

Honestly if you want to play somewhere that you don't need to worry about hitting houses then maybe my home course will be a better choice, it's tougher than trilogy by a ways but it's in the middle of nowhere, plus it's probably an hour closer to SanJose. http://www.roddyranch.com/

It will have to be next year for me, guys.  Knee surgery coming up next week will leave me out of commission for a few months.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
