So, what's the process by which a user can be stripped of their skins?

Does the person who originally awarded them need to change their mind and recall them?

Or is it a centrally imposed punishment - a bit like being put in the stocks for farting in church?

The latter rather than the former.

In the somewhat distant past, "negative" reputation could also be awarded.  That's no longer an option.......and in my ever so humble opinion, rightfully so.

And the only time I've ever seen it happen (I believe it was in a political thread that got a little too flame-y but my memory is a little hazy since I received my little ziplock care package from @Golfingdad ) the people who got stripped received more than ample warning to cease and desist and they jumped off the cliff anyway.

I dunno. To be honest I've been ignoring your posts lately. I know you've barricaded yourself in a few threads but I've largely been avoiding those threads as they've become pretty monotonous.

Some threads degrade into name calling and attacks.  It is best to avoid getting caught up in that and just present your opinion without attacking back (even if the poster went after you first).  It never leads to a good outcome.  Even some long time members can get drawn into the fray.

Sound advice boogie. Not sure I've really fallen out with anyone except where there's been a celebrity golfer involved. I guess I need to tread carefully where there's a showbiz element.

That particular "skin" was removed because it was given accidentally. No other skins from your account were removed by me or, to my knowledge, anyone else.

I did note that you've apparently never given a skin.
