Hi Everyone!,

I wonder if there are some of you listen to music, audio books etc when you are working in the golf? I find myself on being able to hear the sound out of the hit because they give the response how to hit the ball. I think the times when you practice putting or chipping so I sometimes miss having something to listen to. What encourages you to headphones for the context? They're not supposed to destroy the swing.

What I first think of is the bluetooth hands free but there should be a pair of sensible wire too? Anyone who have any idea?

Jaybird bluebuds x. I use them all the time at the range, just keep the phone in your bag. Range is pretty strong indoors or partially covered, gets a bit worse outdoors, but probably has about 60 feet or so outdoors, maybe twice that indoors. They easily synch and have about 5 hours of battery life.

I checked them and they seem very good. However, the price tag is a little too high for me and was wondering if there are options for a lower price?

Then maybe they are my prejudices but like bluetooth guzzle battery power.

Get a belt clip for your mp3 player or phone, and just clip it to your belt behind your back. Then the cord wont get caught in your swing.

I feed the headphone cord under my shirt and just put my iPhone in my pocket. Never had any problems.

How do you do it? Do you take headphones behind your back? How do you make so they do not disturb you when to swing? I really want to know how you do that :)

If you don't like the cord against your skin, just wear an undershirt, and run the cord between the two shirts.

Put your phone or whatever in a pocket. Thread the cord up your shirt and pop it out through your neck hole.

I do this when I run, too.

This. Plug the headphones into my iPhone. Plug headphones into ears. Slide iPhone down the front of my shirt, over my undershirt. Pull it out the bottom of my shirt. Put iPhone in pocket. I guess it would be tougher if I were tucking my shirt in, but my driving range doesn't require it, so I don't.

Depends on the situation. Sometimes I use in-ear canal headphones, mostly not to disturb others. I don't mind the amplification of my bodily noises and moving. I wrap the cord around the smartphone until there is little slack.

Sometimes I just play whatever through the smartphone speakers.

Sometimes I use this, sans the Gangnam style:

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

    • 12 July 25 - Got invited to a Sat morning round with some friends.  Was a decent round - sort of a pre-tournament round for the 1st of Aug.  Best play of the day - lost ball off the tee on 7.  Took the drop, hit 3rd onto the green, missed the par putt by 3 inches short - middle of cup.  Was a good bogie recovery.  Learned a valuable lesson - the wedge is your friend, the collars on the greens are just long enough that they kill the putter (unless you hammer it).  Back to more of those nice chip and roll drills. &nbsp
    • Day 357: played 27 holes. +6 total - pretty pleased. Only negative was missing the hole 3 times from within 4 feet…
    • Day 1: 7/12/25 exactly 60 minutes of chipping practice. Unlikely to be able to practice very much but sure had a blast today!
    • Didn't score better, but made better swings on the course today. I found a bit of success on range pre-round, just hitting like what felt like 60-70% shots. It was more right elbow and right wrist angles in the downswing. Driver took a bit to work out the giant toe push draws I was hitting.
    • Played in the first round of Shawnee Hills  course tournament. went 42+46. Just lost energy on the back nine.  Lots of pars and way too many big scores. Course has a lot of areas to lose a golf ball. This is the adjusted score.  I had to return to the tee twice. The first the guy I played with didn’t tell me my ball bounced into the trees behind the green. 😡 the 2nd one I hit a decent draw over the corner of a slight dog leg left. I didn’t know 15-20 yards from the fairways was nasty weeds. I also 4 putted and 3 putted a few times. I flubbed like two chips. Too long of backswing.  I was happy with my ball striking. Probably B-. Found a bit of something on the range before the round. I’m starting to actually feel my right arm position better with what I am working on. I striped some irons today.
