Your arms collapse because you swing pretty far to the left. "Long arms" helps send the path to the right a little.

There's your answer.

BREAKTHROUGH!!!!!!! ok so @mvmac mentioned key #1 keep your head still. i went to the range before my round today and it worked great. as i played my round i hit the firs 5 greens and the first 4 fairways. i did get a triple because i left my club face open on the 7th hole. i was pretty happy with the nearly immediate success i had. i do have a pinched nerve in my back/hip area but i wasn't to bad today. can't wait for my tournament Sunday at Monarch Beach in Dana Point. oh and today i shot a 41-47 88 at Tuwet Canyon from the tips 73.3/134 6804

also i experimented with a flat swing today which was way different. higher ball flight and not as much effort for distance. i'll post up a video of my flat swing vs. my normal steep swing. probably saturday at the range

FYI ... you're 5 groups ahead of me.  Means I may slice one into you when you're on 14 and I'm on 12, so watch your back!  Could also cross paths in the tunnel between 2/4 and 3/4.

Good luck!

LOL ... I will NOT be wearing my bright red pants (which I wore last tournament) but otherwise have not picked out my duds for Sunday.

Good luck to both of you!

Thanks!!  Yes.  They are broken down in groups of <4 cap, 4-8, 8-12, 12-16, 16-20, and 20+

I'm currently in the 8-12 group, and Kyle is in the 12-16.  I've been hitting it pretty well at the range the last couple of weeks, so hopefully that carries over Sunday!

I really want to move up to the 4-8 group, but I need a couple more good tournament rounds to get there.  (Or one great one ;))

Here is the course website .  We're (both) playing the Gold tees, although they consistently try to get as around 6400-6500 for my group, so they'll probably push some of them back.  And here is the tournament page .

The last two years, my flight was won with an 84 ... which is very, very doable.

Nice course.  Yeah.....looks like low 80's is real doable......but then, you and I both know that anything can happen in a tournament.  I'm fully capable of shooting 75 or 95.

I noticed par 70 so low 80's should not be too difficult and high 70's is in the realm I would think.

[/quote] A lot of short par 4's. Nothing heroic. Hit a bunch of greens, no 3 putts, and walk away with the hardware!
