There might also be some other motivation for not taking advice from a competitor. ;-)

Quantitative data is king. You guys have plenty of this on here. Pretty hard to argue with that. I believe @freedrop needs this site more than this site needs him. If he doesn't agree with what we have to say then maybe it's time he pops smoke and pulls pitch.

I haven't posted much lately (anything useful, anyway) but I was just lurking, sipping on my whisky no less, and I just wanted to say that this entire thread just brightened up my week..... :-P

    • Miss at the moment is a big heel strike off the driver. Irons appear to be fine at the moment, miss with those is a big push. My grip deffo needs to continue to be worked on. Something Else I also noticed by watching my swing over and over and watching Pro's setup I have noticed that I place my left foot fine, but then when I place my right foot out into position I move my whole body doing so, also moving my centre line and left shoulder back, creating a kind of Eiffel tower base looking effect with my legs, both shoulders are equal distance from the instep of my feet. when I look at most pro setups, their lead shoulder is inline with their lead foot instep, and their trial shoulder has a much bigger gap between the instep of the trail foot. This leads them to look more straight up and down on their lead side and more right knee kicked in on their trail side. if that makes sense AT ALL. I tried this at the range last night, setting up my left foot and then moving my right foot without the body, and the strike was way way better and consistent, turn felt better etc, didnt video it, but something I will likely stick with
    • Day 42 - A lot of pushed shots yesterday, so today was work on fixing that. Partly grip, partly opening my hips more.
    • Day 297: back to mirror work tonight. Working on slow movement for feels from the wrist stuff.
    • Day 22: 5/13/25 Putting through gates and weight shift drills with a wedge.
    • I would be happy to hang out with you guys but as of now @DaveP043 and I are planning to stay in Cranberry Township. There’s a bit of travel between the two places, but maybe we can work something out.
