I want to get #3 and #4 hybrid clubs. I have narrowed down my choices to the following: Callaway X2 Hot, Titleist 913H and Ping G25. I am a senior golfer, with a swing speed between 75- 80 mph with a slightly fast downswing. Looking for a forgiving hybrid that won't penalize you greatly on hits off center. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lew, all three of those are good hybrids. In terms of forgiveness I would tend to lean towards the X2 Hot.

I just picked up a X2 Hot 22 degree hybrid. I hit basically every hybrid golfsmith had and the X2 Hot was by far the most consistent and easiest to hit out of them all. It also has one of the tallest faces which is nice for when you hit down on it a little to much. Thr only other one I like was the Nike Corvet 2.0. GGood luck let us know what you end up with.

Titleist offerings are known to be made for the better player - more of a shot makers club (guys who work the ball & don't need as much forgiveness).     As a whole, hybrids are fairly forgiving ... I play the 2012 Nike's - very easy to hit & long.

I'd tend to agree on the 913's.

I play the 910 hybrids and  love them, but the heads are a little more compact than some of the others and will definitely let you know if you miss them a bit.

In David's bag....

Driver: Titleist 910 D-3;  9.5* Diamana Kai'li
3-Wood: Titleist 910F;  15* Diamana Kai'li
Hybrids: Titleist 910H 19* and 21* Diamana Kai'li
Irons: Titleist 695cb 5-Pw

Wedges: Scratch 51-11 TNC grind, Vokey SM-5's;  56-14 F grind and 60-11 K grind
Putter: Scotty Cameron Kombi S
Ball: ProV1

Completely agree. I carry a 910 hybrid as well and love it even though it may be slightly less forgiving than some other options on the market. Great club though.

Guys, thanks for your input. I will be buying a hybrid next month and leaning towards the Callaway X2 Hot for now.
