Wedge Help

I was hoping someone here could help me locate my problem and help work it out. Here are the symptoms:

-All of my wedge shots are very thin and line drive low.
-They are also going WAY right.

Here is an example. Yesterday I was 90 yds out, my usual pitching wedge. I hit and ended up 40 yds to the right of the green and 30 short. The shot was aweful. This was the norm all day yesterday. I play the ball back in my stance, maybe 1 or 2 balls from center. I am hitting 48*, 54* and 60* callaway forged wedges. I didnt even hit the 60 yesterday since the 48 and 54 were going sooo bad. Any advise or practice drill would be super. Thanks in advance.

You might be playing the ball too far back, not giving the club a chance to square up and hitting the ball with an open face. Try moving it to center, maybe 1 ball forward, to let the club continue to square up and get through the hitting zone so you can hit the ball on the face of the club rather than the leading edge.

Right and low implies inside to out path + thin topped shots so maybe you have too flat a plane for wedges? Maybe try a little steeper path and take club back and up and less inside on backwsing. That's one thing that comes to my mind.

Yeah, move the ball to the center of your stance, maybe further forward. Maybe go to the range and practice doing half swings, 3/4 swings and full swings. I tend to lean forward on my left foot and this helps me hit down on the ball and this creates spin and prevents the horrible thin shot.

Rememer, for shorter wedge shots, do not flick your wrists as this can cause it to go left.

You may also be hitting the toe of the club. Is the lie correct for you? Maybe it's worth getting fitted and have them bent to your specs?
