I was nervous about the strong 3 wood loft, but my current 15.5 is so easy to hit that I don't think it's a problem. I love that club!

Driver: the new Srixon driver coming out
Woods: Cleveland HiBore XLS 5 wood
Hybrid: HiBore XLS 3i
Irons: 3-6 Cleveland CG red 7-P CG Tour (mix the blades in there)
wedges: 52* 56* 60* CG12
Putter: i'm up in the air on putters.

Throw in a 5 wood to match the R9 3 wood below (same shaft) and a couple more cleveland wedges with the KBS Tour X Stiff and I have everything!

I've been fitted for all the clubs - just a matter of saving and splashing out.

Just ordered the TMX Tour stand bag and a pair of Dryjoys - can manage without the 5 wood and wedges for the moment!

I would spend 2 or 3 days with a qualified fitter and let him pick. Mizuno irons, Adams hybrids, titleist woods, scratch wedges. To be honest, I don't hvae unlimited money, if I did, I would spend alot more on lessons and playing more. The tools are just that, tools.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

Most of the stuff folks are listing here is hardly the stuff of dreams, it's available at most golf shops - most folks here can stop dreaming and start buying!

It's not like talking about dream cars or dream homes, things that are usually unattainable for the average joe.

I'd say I have my bag pretty much as I want it now.

Only changes I might make are:

Change my Cleveland gap wedge to a Titleist Vokey

Maybe a 3 wood or 1 iron-equivalent hybrid... but need that length so rarely that just cant justify the outlay. Quite comfortable hitting the driver off the deck and hit my 2 iron a good 230ish so not really worth it.

I bought my dream set this year, I tried club after club after club at Golftown in Halifax, and got exactly the irons and driver I wanted. Though, with instruction, my swing plane has gotten better, and my instructor has suggested heavier, stiffer shafts for my driver and woods.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

      Day 4 (24 Jun 26) - Played the mid-week shootout - iffy day on putts as I had 35 and of late been in the upper 20's.   Greens recently verti-cut and they are a bit bump and long haired - no excuses as I need to learn to trust making the proper adjustments.   Overall a decent day with some solid long game shots.

      While it does turn out that both Tiger and Phil are less squeaky clean than I previously believed, I don't think golf quite has the worst in professional sports.  Or maybe they're better at image management.   Obviously I'm not fond of Phil's issue we're discussing in this thread (or his involvement with LIV) or Tiger's choices of how to drive.  I used to really like Dustin Johnson and, even before the LIV situation, we started to hear rumors that he bought more snow than Seward, although I don't think those stories were ever substantiated.  Meanwhile, I did think of Anthony Kim as the "good, bad boy" of the tour for a while fifteen years ago because of his party persona -- and if it turns out the worst he did was show up hung over to play (barring what one thinks of LIV), that's pretty good.  And I'm still happy he found a way to get his life clean. If we contrast that with some other sports I enjoy, I'm sure we could find a nice long list of NFL players that, at one point in my life, I was quite fond of, we get far worse disappointments (to put it mildly).

      Answering that properly would land me in hot water, so I'm not going to. I don't think that many people would do that. I think that in certain circumstances many people would be willing to overlook someone doing that. But I was really referring to what I assumed was Tiger's transgressions (cheating on his wife) not Phil's.
