I love statistics.  I love days that I go out an I have no one behind me for 3 or 4 tee times on a slow day so I can really take time and record some good data.

Yes, inquiring minds want to know. :)

I don't know. I don't play enough golf to keep track of my stats anymore. Scorecard still works, and it's good we did this as we used a lot of the data in it as the foundation for some of Lowest Score Wins .

If you happen to find one that measures length of first putt please let me know.

I don't know why so many don't. Scorecard was one of the few that did. It gave so many good stats so easily. FWIW, I have the source code and if another Mac developer wished to take it over, I'm sure they could do so. Probably not worth the time, though. Not unless they could also integrate with oobgolf or something.

I always wondered about writing down the GIR stat for each hole while playing . Can't GIR easily be deduced from the hole score and putts, eg par 5 hole, the player par's it and 2 putts, thus must be a GIR.  Or same Par hole but 1 putt, then not  GIR.

At the end of the round simply review each hole and determine total GIR for the day.
