I've needed a new pair of shoes for a while -- I royally messed up the spike connectors (long story) in my Nikes a few years ago, and the spikes that are in there now (which won't come out, and would be tough to put a replacement in if I did remove them). I've considered the spikeless shoes, but I can't get over that mental gap. How do they work? Are they as good as spiked shoes? I'm not against getting a pair, but all other things being equal, I'm going with spikes.
