Rangefinder Help

So im looking to invest in a range finder in the near future, I figure from what I have read online and the reviews and such that the bushnell is one of the best but I don't want to spend $300. Any other brands that make a good accurate rangefinder that I could pick up used for maybe $100-150, like $200 at the highest?

From what I understand, you really can't go wrong with either Leupold or Bushnell.  (I have a Leupold and love it)

Good advice above to look at used ones ... could probably save a good chunk of money that way.

I love my Leupold. A quick search on eBay turned up Buy It Now options for a new PinCaddie for $203 and a new GX-1i for $239.

Have you tried the leupold PinCaddie?

I have not used it.  I have the GX-1i version.  It looks like the PinCaddie has most of the features and the same optics.  I would suggest going to a store that carries them, like Dick's Sporting Goods, and checking out Leupold and Bushnell.  You can look at the store through the rangefinder and see which one looks better to you.  If you don't buy new, you still have a very good idea how each will work.

Bushnell sells refurbished models on their web site. Good prices on good products plus you get a warranty.
