Ping is a very lefty-friendly company, if you like their hybrids. I can vouch at least for the G10 hybrids in that I love mine. I'm a bit less enthusiastic about the shape of the head on the G15 and G20 hybrids, but I like the G25 shape as well as my G10's. The face on them is slightly rounded, if you dislike that.

I'm also a lefty. I traded my Cobra Baffler hybrids for Ping G-25 hybrids after a day of fitting. I hit several different brands and found the G-25 hybrids the best of the bunch. Higher launch and workability. Also hit the Ping I-25 hybrids but could not get the trajectory I wanted. Loved the Ping Hybrids so much I bought G-25 irons. Was never a Ping fan until I hit their hybrids and am now a Ping convert. And as someone has already posted, Ping is a lefty friendly company.

Look, a 22 degree is about the same loft as a 3I. so your ball position should be like a 3I. I guess a little more forward. You also should look at the shaft, the stronger the shaft the lower your ball will fly.

I find the problem with me hearing the parallel of hybrids to irons is that hybrids are more upright and at the same time longer. That means I could not hit them for a long time, and only once I realized that what felt like closing the face or moving the ball back in my stance with a more closed face made use of the upright design was I able to appreciate the shot that was intended by the designer. It allowed me to come in steeper with a longer stick and elevate the trajectory to achieve the distance for which I carry the club.
