I found this website about a week ago while searching for some rules clarifications and I've been hooked ever since I discovered The Sand Trap. There's lots of good information and conversations throughout the website and I'm looking forward to jumping in on some of them myself. I am from SE Michigan, golf about once a week, a lefty, and am finally starting to shoot under 100 consistantly this summer (I've golfed 6 straight rounds now in the mid- to high 90s). I made the commitment in the spring to actually try and improve my game by practicing at the range and playing smarter instead of just going out to the course and hacking it up. It is paying off and I'm very excited about it! My strengths are my 3 hybrid, 4 hybrid, and putter, but I am not very consistant with my 5 through 8 iron so when it comes to par 3s I typically get excited when the scorecard is filled with 180-190 yard holes rather than 130-150 yard ones. My biggest problem with those clubs is that I always seem to hit them left and short about 20 yards or so. I have made some strides with them but they aren't where I would like them to be just yet.

Hello right back atcha, and welcome to the site!
