Mason Nome is only 13, but the eighth-grader from Houston already has committed to play college golf for his "dream school."

I dunno, but a lot can happen between now and near the end of high school.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Barring any injuries, this will probably be a great decision for the Longhorns. This kid has all the dedication. His dad does too, getting him a goddamn full swing simulator in the house...one of the really expensive ones.

I've still following 10 year old Allan Kournikova. The future is bright.
