I agree.  I don't see a problem with the hole at all.  Long hitters will hate it because it's going to be a DAMN hard hole to get to in 2.  Those of us that play the vast majority of our par-5's as 3 shot holes will enjoy watching the bombers have to think a bit for a change.

Not really. This is how I would play the hole myself. I would have about 175 left to the hole.

I think the harder scenario is for those who don't have the distance because now you are laying up aiming at the OB thru the fairway. You have to guess the right yardage to hit that gap or you might end up going OB long or end up short and have no shot.

Yeah it's too bad...I got a hold of it, but the trajectory was just a hair too low and the tree got a snack. Was just happy to still be in bounds.

Just laughing with you... been there a lot with the driver.. if height may be an issue, do you have a 17-19 club? Because that usually does the trick and is fairly straight off the tee. But whenever I try to avoid trees near or jutting into the fairway (or sometimes in the center of the fairway), the ball generally finds them. Maybe I need to ignore them (it all in the head and alignment).

I have a 19, but I was afraid to hit it, since my last shot with it was duffed haha.

I normally would have no problem hitting my 3 that high, but something was different with my swing, causing it to go lower.

And @saevel25 is exactly right...twice. If you can bomb a drive out there to the right, you're left with a
