Hey just saying what worked for me.  I think we can all agree that you just have to experiment and figure out what helps you the most.  Unfortunately there is no foolproof way to go about this!  I think it is all about finding a grip that you truly believe in, otherwise you'll just keep doubting yourself.

Agree.  We all have different hands and swings.  Finding what works best is the hardest part.

I've a;ways been an interlocking, thats how I was taught, the overlapping grip never felt right, but I've messed around with it over the last year.  It felt weird at first but I got used to it, but still gravitated back to the interlocking.  I hit the ball roughly the same, didn't matter which grip.

Just do what feels best. Growing up I always used the 10 finger baseball grip because I played baseball but when I quit baseball to focus on golf a few months back I finally switched to interlocking and like it. I feel like I have good control of my clubs with the interlocking grip and I will probably never change it.

I was grinning about my change a long time ago.  I was using a modified baseball grip and had watched Nicklaus and knew he played interlock. So, I decided it would be interlock for me since Jack and I have the same size hands. lol  All winter long I would make use of my time whether watching tv or sitting on the throne  and  practice my interlock grip.  By spring I had it down pretty well.  Part way through I did use a golf gripped BBQ spatula.  Geez a long time ago now.  Never thought about it again though always the interlock.
