I just can't lug the sticks all around the world, even if i luv them.  via Google I see a number of 'for hire golf sticks' out of Dublin, etc and figure that will be the way to go for me, esp at under US$80 per week, and considering my skill level. I'll be renting a car, either Dublin or out west and can get sticks either  place.

If anyone can offer recommendations on how best to solve this small problem (which airport, which vendor), thanks in advance.

$80 a week sounds like a really good deal, I'm playing Ballybunion in June and it's about $60 for one day, plus I'm betting you can play a ton of golf in a week with a rental car :-D.

my get up and go musta got up and went..

This is such a special trip, you sure you can't take your own clubs, that fit you and that help you play your best?

Why not just ship them Fedex or something to wherever you start golfing, pick them up, and then Fedex them back home when you are done with the golfing part of your trip?

Play my best?  Well, thanks sincerely but in truth i don't really know my best.  In Ireland everything will be 'out of the ordinary' for me, so why not the clubs too?  And i will be starting far, far from FedEx so costs of club shipping may be high.
