I bought these to cut and turn them into a set for my kid, she turns 4 this summer. Any way. I picked them up off of Craigslist for really cheap, I didn't care what they were cause my daughter is going to murder them either way. Having said all of this, I am very curious what these are. I figured our that the Woods are really Synchron II Fairway Woods, whoever made the irons slapped on their logo to the wood. The Irons are completely bewildering though. They have no marking except the numbers marking the irons and of course the same logo as the woods. The shafts and grips on the clubs are all the same. The shafts are black and say "Excalibur by Golf U.K.". The grips are classic wraps by Winn's Gold. Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks

Here in the US, "knock offs" - that were clearly very cheap versions of major brand clubs - used to be prevalant.  My brother owned a set of "Big Brothers" that were a copy of Callaway Big Berthas, and those Big Bens look very similar to them.

Probably a pretty good place to start for a kid.

I had fairway woods that were identical to those, but mine were badged as "Tour Model" brand (still had the "Synchron II" markings and exact same loft designations though). They were knockoff clubs, looked like they were pretty much modeled after the Adams Tight Lies FWs. I also had a "Tour Model" iron set, but they didn't look like the OP's photo - they were total Ping knockoffs.

OP, those irons look like they're copies of original Callaway Big Bertha's. I say original because Callaway has reused the name Big Bertha in clubs this season and I believe last season.  I can't tell you what they're worth but their value is probably pretty low.

There's nothing wrong with standing on the other side (correct side) of the ball. Being left-handed is uncommon. Being a left-handed girl is quite uncommon.

Hope she enjoys the clubs

Chris

I don't play golf, I play at golf. There's a difference.

On a somewhat related note, cutting down a set of full sized men's clubs for a 4 year old is going to leave her with heavy, completely unwieldy clubs. I understand the cost factor, but would encourage you to look for a set of purpose designed kids clubs in her size. They're generally easy to find used since the kids grow out of them so fast too.....

+1 Try ebay for a decent cheap kids set. I paid 15 clams for a brand new Barbies set, shipped.

    • Day 87 (27 Jul 25) - Made it an easy session with the wedge this afternoon, worked on staying in the shot and not lifting out - split between low spinners and higher floaters.
    • Shot my new low 72 (par 70) today. Had 5 birdies, also a new best, which included a hole out from the bunker on par 3 6th, and another hole out pitch from 15ish yards on the long par 4, 15th.  Got a couple of other good breaks. Except for an OB drive on 14th (and ensuing double bogey), not much went wrong. All in all I might have used up a year's worth of luck in a single day.
    • Back in the saddle after vacation.  Day 1: played 18. Did not have it, but still battled to an 82. Felt closer to a 90, but that’s fine.
    • Yes, I have seen this from the older crowd that play the 4,700 yard tees and want to know why they get less strokes from there. Always trying to game the system 🤣
    • Day 300 - 2025-07-27 Good 44-ball segment. GSPro was acting goofy, so I just put it on the Quad. Then I hit a bunch of low spinners. Hit 14° down to 9.8° down, with the average closer to 12.3° or so. Focused mostly on the backswing. Right knee good, hands roll up and out a little before laying off (FAR).
