Is this a joke? Does this really happen in the States? Why the Hell would you bring a gun to the golf course?

Im going to say it wouldnt bother me. It would be easy enough for someone im playing with to knock me out cold with their 4 iron or hybrid while im teeing up. Then again i gueSs if hes a hacker he might miss so the gun would be easier..
