The guy would sell his soul for a buck fifty ... maybe they will highlight his t-shirt gig outside the Masters ... how much lower can one go ... I guess we will find out soon enough on ESPN's 30 for 30

Daly is not the prototype PGA pro but he seems like a good guy who has had serious issues with substance abuse. No need to be so mean about it.

Will the 30 for 30 docs be as great without Bill Simmons?

Nope. I don't think so. But whatever. I think he was too good for that inbred circle-jerk that is ESPN

I had quite enough of John Daly with "Being John Daly".  I was eager to watch that show . .but it quickly revealed that he's kind of a whiney guy who blames everybody else for his problems and surrounds himself with an entourage of "yes-men".  There was this one scene in that show where he was sitting around a campfire (I think) strumming a guitar while his friends took turns telling him how great he is.  Yeesh.

Anyway . .I find the guy to be boring.  I mean, he's not the only guy, by a long-shot, to fail to make the best use of his talents.  He does seem like basically a good guy, though . .and I used to sort of pull for him in tournaments before I realized it was pointless to do so.  And the pants . .really hate the pants.
