Hey guys, I know the one angle on this vid isn't great, but I just decided to film a couple swings with the driver before it got dark. Thanks for any input!

I've been Playing Golf for: 15 years off and on

My current handicap index or average score is: 90

My typical ball flight is: High

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Pull hook

I'd play the ball more forward and work on keeping the hips centered.

When the hips slide back it makes it hard to get the weight far enough forward on the downswing. Improving the pivot will help you start to clean this up and get rid of those pull hooks.

Thanks mvmac! I never realized how off my lower body was until I filmed these swings. I can now see how my weight is too far back which is probably why my ball launches too high. I can't wait to get to the range and try these suggestions. Also, the camera angle makes it look like the ball is further back than it really is. I usually play it just inside my lead foot.

Updated swing video from yesterday. Not sure I've made much improvement. I am having a hard time with releasing the club too early and can't seem to figure out how to maintain lag. My driver results have been decent lately, but I know I am leaving distance out there. Not to mention I still have the occasional pull.

Lag "happens" so if you're casting it's something going on with your pivot/getting the weight forward/arm sequencing. Your hips are still moving back and that's going to make it hard for them to get forward enough on the downswing.

Change the picture, man. We are pretty good at prioritizing things.
