It's way to early for me to be thinking about The Presidents Cup. But based on your list, I don't see Adam Scott making the team. But we have about a year.

I think Adam Scott is one of the most skilled International players for Presidents Cup. Hes mothership 🙂 

Nieman and Pereira have good chemistry what can help, i think everything is about chemistry in team.

What u think? Deserved LIV players chance to go?  

So and who of new US players u will take ? U think Theegala deserve a spot? 🙂

Tomorrow has foursomes. For me that is the most enjoyable format for these types of events. In my opinion best in sports. Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup and Presidents Cup.

Eh, I'm gonna take the opposite angle on that one, and suggest that Tom Kim has been the only thing giving the event any juice from the International side of things.

Until the International team does something… I don't know about "waste of time" and the surrounding area benefits economically, the players might enjoy it… etc. But it's not super interesting.

Yah, a little over the top barking behind SS's back and walking away before he putted out (that is straight up poor form IMO), etc. Seems to be trying to punch above his weight class. But then on the same note it's hard to stay awake for a couple of hours of telecast outside of this no? The golf is not bad but there's no soul and that's not the player's fault. 

I read something about him 'blaming the Canadian crowd' for their Day 1 plight but that also seems to be a bit of a writer's distortion of what he said as to me it seems he is simply asking the crowds to get a bit more involved. That's fair. Ya' know, the positive, loud energy these type of events need and feed off of. My two cents.

Ehh, it was kinda bad yesterday. Especially from the European side. 

Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Sungjae, and Bezuidenhout combined for 4 birdies yesterday... Theegala wasn't good from the US side either.

      Ball strike is king. You hit with a glancing blow (hook or slice), your smash factor just decreases a ton. Having a face to path angle of like 20 degrees versus something like 3 degrees is huge.  Yea, getting in shape is a good idea all around. Power is moving something heavy really fast. So, increasing how much you can lift, then improving on how fast you can move it will improve your power. In general, I think the two biggest tests for distance is like a chest press and standing vertical high jump. Some people are gifted with fast hands, but having good lower body can amplify what you have. Using the ground the correct way really ramps up the rotation speed, and then that can get the clubhead moving faster. Still, the hands do get down from the top of the backswing really fast.  If you start gaining strength and power gains. Knowing how to use the ground properly is important. You can have all the leg strength, but if you are not activating it correctly it is a waste. That is where good mechanics come into play.
