I voted yes. You start saying everything is special and then nothing is special because everything is like everything else.

I don't get to watch the GC much, but if they are over using it, then yes.   They should watch it.   Something special is a small number of times relative to the total number of times that something happens.   If too many things are special, then it does lose meaning.
