Getting back into golf

Hi everyone - seems like every golf question I typed into Google led to TheSandTrap.com forum so I figured I should sign up to the source! I played golf for a few years as a kid but then basically gave it up for a couple of decades. Started up again a couple of months ago at the local driving range here in Kent, U.K. and have played a few rounds since. Even bought myself some new clubs but not sure I believe everything I am reading about technology advances in golf clubs as it seems like it was much easier to hit the ball when I was younger. However I am persevering and keen to learn more. Feels like this is the place to do it.

Thanks for joining. Technology has changed a lot, but it still requires a good swing to play well. This is a great place to learn. Check out the Swing Thoughts section. We also have a Member Swings section where you can post a video of your swing. We have a few great instructors on the site and other golfers who have worked through the same improvement process.
