i like to "peek".....

si i have to sure to be looking at the spot after thr putt.....and on shorter putts just listen for it.

While everyone is taking the wrists out of putting i noticed arnold palmer hits outts with his wrist. My putting has been terrible lately so i figured what the heck ill give it a shot. Tried it today and only needed 30 putts. Thats 8 less than my average. THANK YOU ARNOLD PALMER!

Keep in mind that the greens were very different in Palmer's playing time. The greens had longer grass and his putting style helped get the ball going. My father-in-laws putter from the 1930s had a loft of 10 degrees.

Wow!! Ten degrees of loft on a putter. Thats nuts! The average loft now a days is like 4 degrees i think.

    • Day 527 - 2026-03-12 Took a day off (from going downtown). So, mirror and laser work. Plus like two minutes messing with some old putters.
    • Day 4 (12 Mar 26) - nine hole session with grandson - played along side him from most fwd tees with seven  club setup -D,7w, 5,7,9,55° and putter.  Worked with him on his green side approach play.  Had some great shot making opportunities on my own, best part was seeing him make solid swings.  
    • Day 80 - 2026-03-12 30 minutes at the range playing some simulated holes, picking targets, etc. 15 minutes of putting work.

    • They sure do. 158 with an 8 iron is on the high end for me
