Congrats to him. Winning 2 of the last 3 comps on the European tour. The Czech and Dutch opens. Well done. Also a big hand for the GB and NI team for beating team USA 16.5 to 9.5pts to regain the Walker cup.

They probably already know him given they would have played with him on the European Tour. To conquer world golf you have to conquer America. That was my point.

Yeah the guy is an absolutely MASSIVELY long hitter, he was blasting the ball past everyone at the Czech Open. He even got two shots penalty when playing the wrong ball in deep rough, his ball was a good 10m longer than he thought!!

His Belgian compatriot Nicolas Colsaerts just shot a -9  61 in the first round of the Italian Open.

He hasn't hit top form this year,maybe this is his turnaround event.
