Been hitting great recently and I have never thought about this.

I suppose you would need to take your right hip back and up more to create more downward tilt with the left upper body.

Just keep your right upper arm against your right side near your pectoral and hit some balls... it will do exactly what it needs to do...

My instructor had me put a head cover under my right armpit while I swing at 50% speed to help fix this.  He's also had me use a towel under both to help me keep my arms/body more "connected" during the swing.

Then why arn't you doing that... because that is what you need..it's the same as keep your upper arm against your chest

To the OP, try to get to the top (A4) more with your chest/torso and less with your arms. And stop making douchey posts all over the site, you'll get more help if you don't act like a troll half the time.

    • Day 556 - 2026-04-10 Played another 17 holes, this time skipping #11 to pass a group that was still on 14 when we were finishing up. 😛 Not as good as yesterday, but more distracted by the mind's eye.
    • Yes, you've gone on about it for like 20 years now. 😉
    • I really do find the masters stuffed shirts to be insufferable. Or is it instufferable?
    • I'm hearing this morning that Robert MacIntyre may be facing some sort of discipline (probably a stern warning) for the finger incident on 15 yesterday.  It dawns on me his upbringing would have been during Tiger's prime years -- he's 29 now, and would have been in elementary school in the early 21st century.  Someone should tell him that the swearing wasn't what made Tiger great at golf.   Or John Daly (or Don January?) or whoever else we associate with both being good at golf and producing choice words on television.
