i've been looking to buy a new driver and was looking for some advise on some drivers that are out there.

Superquad's will be coming down in price here shortly since TM has a new driver they released. May want to try that out

I just purchased the TM QUAD and love it. It has added on average about 15yds to my drives. Also helped with my slice.

The new TM's driver is called r7 CGB Max and frankly I don't think will fit your handicap (7.5). It is aimed at people who have low swing speed and having trouble getting the ball airborne, probably higher handicap too. The stock shaft Re*Ax by Mitsubishi Rayon is weighted at 45 gr with 4.8 deg torque. Moreover, I don't think re-shafting with high kick point shaft will lower the ball flight trajectory a lot as the head is designed to get the ball way up in the air. I think another way to do is to get the lower lofted driver and get a new shaft.

There's a lot of possibility to max this new TM driver. But priced at MSRP $499 a piece, there's just not enough reason to experiment with it. .2 cents

I agree with fusioncal... but you never know different drivers work for different people, it may be that you just kill the new one

I hit then new 907 D1, and it is a great club, and easy to hit low

Why not try out some and see what you think!

I can sell you 2-3 drivers for the price you'll pay for the New TM that can get you the same if not better results!!!

If you dont want to spend the dough on the new Titleist drivers the 905R is still a great club and is alot lower in price now that the 907's have come out. I've had mine for a year and i love it.

I've hit the CGB Max.

It depends on what you're looking for. In terms of head shape, it's similar to the 907 D1.

I hit a 9* with a VS Proto shaft (thanks to the TaylorMade fitting system, you can put the club together with this combination).

It didn't suit me - it's not a particularly "low spin" head, which is what I need.

IMO, moving the weights around will alter performance.
