That looks like it was a blast.  I doubt I'll be high enough up in the hierarchy here at this site by next year to play,  but would love the chance.

The next one is in 2017… on the east coast. :-) You may qualify for that one. You should list your handicap index in your profile (and some other things too).

It was an absolute blast, a great bunch of guys to play with and against.  Mike and Erik did an outstanding job of organizing it.  Before you decide you won't be "high enough in the heirarchy", I'll let you know that I had only been a member of TST for about 6 months at the time I was invited.  Erik could tell you why I was selected (he may choose not to), but I'm guessing that I had been generally active in the forums, I had treated other posters with respect, I had a handicap in the right range, and I was available.  It really didn't matter why I got invited, I was really happy to have the chance.

Not to mention you are pretty darn clutch and are a very solid partner.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
