I believe it started in the early 1980's, wth the Big Three (Arnie, Jack, and The Black Knight), along with the Merry Mex.  I miss that event during the Holiday Season.  It was on during the weekend after Thanksgiving.  I believe Lee made an ace in one year.  Then, Tom Watson took his place.  Payne won 3 in a row, and it was exciting to see him come from behind as he tried to defend his title.  Then, the Shark and Freddie Couples were big stars.  The ratings dropped, and it was terminated.  They should bring it back with Jordan, Rory, Jason, and the Zach Attack.  I would love to watch it after having the big turkey meal!

I remember it and miss the show.  They had a senior version for awhile too.  The other "competition" I miss is the Three Tour competition that was in Nevada for a few years.  But I decided I must be in a minority or these TV shows would still be on.  Big Break seems to have gone the same way and I enjoyed that too.  Oh well,  I guess we are all just getting older and the world just keep on a'changen.

The original Big Three Golf started in 1962 and was in Black and White.  I never saw the original, but I've seen replays on the Golf Channel.  I remember the announcer commenting on how a 250 yard drive was a big drive.  Typical drives were under 250.  Jack may bomb one for 280 now and then.

I'd like to see a "Skins" format tournament be added to a tour event. Divide the purse 50/50, 50% payout for top positions. The other 50% divided into daily skin payouts.

If "No Skins" the purse carries over each day.

Great times, and the memories will last forever.

PEZ SEZ----here is the foursome I would like to see in a new Skins Game----the Zach Attack, Jordan Spieth, Patrick Reed, and Jason Day.  There would be fireworks, good shots, and good banter among the four.  I would watch that show!
