Last year I went to the LPGA tournament held at Aviara in the San Diego area.  The overall vibe on the LPGA tour seemed more casual and more friendly to me.  At the 16th tee box, Lydia pulled out of her golf bag some mixed fruit in a Tupperware like container and offered some to her fellow competitors.  She seemed very friendly, just like a group of friends out for a round of golf.  She also seems pretty humble considering her accomplishments.  And... this kind of attitude sure doesn't seem to hurt her playing.

Two years ago, I saw Ko and Lewis, up and close, battling each other down the stretch in an LPGA event.  Lewis was showing her emotion on every shot, mostly grimaces, tight lips, disappointed looks, ...   Ko OTOH was acting very casual as if every shot is just another one of many.   She looked nonchalant, even cracking a smile here and there.   She won the tournament.   It was a changing of a guard although I wasn't convinced at the time.

Several here have singled out Gerina Piller as one of their favorites, and I would definitely agree. Since her appearance on the Big Break a few years back, she has developed into a solid player and should have a bright future ahead. Love that smile, too!

My second choice is Gerina Piller. She is good-looking, and improves every year. She has one of the best smiles on Tout.

I was watching a replay of the Solheim Cup a couple of days ago, and she got to the 18th hole in her match, with Europe sitting half a point from overall victory, and she had to sink an 8 footer to halve the hole and win her match.   If she had missed that putt, Europe would have won, and she knew it, and she drained it.   That has to be one of the most pressure packed putts of the year.
