when no slope is stated?

My daughter is playing a small par 3 course, 18 holes (par 54). The scorecard gives a course rating, but the card says slope is ZERO.  How is index and course handicap calculated? (I just put in 113 for the slope and it looks about right).  She also says she has joined a womens'  league and will be playing nine holes. (assuming a standard course).  I am sure they will be able to establish her handicap. (N)

Does the course have a website? If it has a rating and spot for slope on the card then perhaps the cards were misprinted and the numbers can be found online.

Never mind...I found it (on another website -JC Golf), the slope is 100

Courses shorter than 3000 yards (for 18 holes; 1500 for 9 holes) don't qualify for a USGA Course Rating and Slope Rating.  They can get a USGA Short Course Rating, but the short course rating does not include a slope.
