3-5 weeks. Have a good time, ask all your questions, and figure out what colors and stamping you might like before you go.

With the standard putters, there are a lot more options for stamping. Sometimes the hosel, but the face and the sole are available.

Thanks I scheduled a fitting for Saturday.  Is there any questions I should ask or something  I need to know/lookout for?

just a quick question - i guess it doesnt really matter because i already got my putter, but...

can you get it without any stampings?  like without the Edel logo wings?  i dont care for that design and just wonder if that wouldve been possible.

Not that I know of. Maybe if you're super famous or want to pay a lot more.

I had my fitting today it went well.  The putter that Im gaming now I aim 12 inches right at 6ft (yeah I know thats not good).  I ended up with an E3 torque balance after my fitting.  I was very impressed with how in-depth the fitting process was.  Id say it took 80- 90 minutes.  We started by getting my aim centered by trying different putter heads.  Then fine tuning it with alignment lines.  I was surprised how much changing alignment lines made me move my perception of straight.  Then we went to the distance control portion.  This took the most time and was so eye opening.  I had zero weight in my current putter outside of the head weight.  The edel I should be getting in a few weeks has 110 grams of weight in the handle and butt of the putter.  That made a huge difference in how it felt to keep my distance consistent.  My fitter even commented how different the new putter is from my current one.  I went with a black head and all white paint fill on all of my stamping.  I can't wait to get my new baby.  If I golf between now and then I might just skip putting after today.

Definitely, supposed to be 70 degrees.  Can't wait.  Only time I've been to Congressional is for the pro tournaments that have been played there.

Have fun and trust the fitter. Don't cheat and look at screen to see where the laser is pointing. Can't wait to hear how it goes.

I am waiting on mine to show up soon. The weighting of the putter made such a difference for my distance control. It was crazy how close my putts clustered even if I felt I didn't hit it quite as well as a previous ball.

I honestly think the edel will be worth 1-3 strokes a round. And I'm a consistent sub 35 putts/rd putter.

I ordered wedges as well. I'm not quite as confident they will help my scores, but we will see.

    • I usually like to fix the face, first, as the path is most often the compensation for the open face rather than the other way around. If you could get some good down-the-line and face-on video in slow motion, it'd go a long way toward helping. It's tough to see the face and I think the face-on view would show that you're not turning as much as you could/should.
    • Day 86 (26 Jul 25) - Down at the beach place, had kept the clubs with me after playing yesterday.  Spent time this afternoon checking them over and brushing grooves on the wedges and irons.  Spent a few minutes working thru the swing process…working in slo mo through backswing and proper weight shift.
    • . I've been Playing Golf for: 10 years, 1 year consistently  My current handicap index or average score is: 100 My typical ball flight is: fade The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: inconsistent ball strike   I caught the bug about a year ago and have been playing roughly once a week. Have been getting better with my short game and putting but my ball striking from tee and fairway lets me down. Had my first lesson last month which identified an over the top swing compensated by an open club face. Have been trying everything to get on plane over the last month. Have found that using a bend and press into my left leg as the trigger for my downswing coupled with finding the turn and rotation in both my arms to release the club properly has helped my get nearer to the correct plane. Video below is where I am with it currently. Haven’t taken this new swing to the course yet! Any comments or suggestions are welcome  Videos:  I've been Playing Golf for: 1 year properly  My current handicap index or average score is: 100 av score
    • That's always been the deal. You put in the work hyper focused on ONE or at most two things, so that you don't have to think about anything except a single feel or the target or something on the course.
    • Blind squirrel finds a nut and putted well. no, I decided to play a round being athletic rather than paralyzing myself with swing thoughts. I have no clue if I was doing what I worked on. It was the last day and I was tired of freezing at the top of the swing not know if one of four outcomes were going to happen.
