Looking for any tips on getting the clubface closed at impact.

My current bad shot is a high shot, starting right of the pin and moving further right.  I am quite sure, from looking at my swing stats on swingbyte, that I have an in to out swing path with a massively open face.  If I slow my swing right down, I can see that the back of my left hand is facing right of the pin and the club face is really open.

It is currently really bad with my driver too.

Any general tips?  Dont have any swing videos for now.

You could try the revving feel. From the top, twist your lead wrist counter-clockwise on the way down.

I'm probably explaining this poorly. Pretend your lead hand is gripping a motorcycle throttle (if it was on the left handle..) and turn the throttle as if you were rolling it forward. Hope that makes sense.

Having loose wrists will help too. If I let my grip tighten and wrists tense on the way down, my face will stay wide open. If I keep it loose, it will rotate naturally with the arc.

This is actually my only swing thought and has worked well for me. I think of my left wrist facing my target line as I come through impact. I do two small practice swings with a focus on the flat part of my wrist going towards the target through impact and I do the same on the full swing.

Hard to tell for certain what the issue is without video, but a possibility is you are getting your right elbow stuck behind you in the downswing. This can be caused by pulling it too far behind you in the backswing and it can happen in transition, where the right elbow comes down behind you causing you to bring the club down with a cupped left wrist.

What you want to do is keep the right elbow more in front of your body by feeling that you are squeezing them together and keeping that pressure as you swing. Feel like your right tricep stays connected to your torso instead of it flying out behind you in the backswing and maintain that feeling of squeezing your elbows together as you come down from the top.

I don't think trying to manipulate the face is a good idea.

If I had to guess, I would say you are probably generating too much tension during the down swing. It was a big part of the reason I used to slice. It is somewhat hard to self-diagnose due to the down swing being over so quickly, and you may not be aware of, or even believe you are even doing it.

"Swinging easy" is sage advice, and in no way shape or form implies swinging weakly.
