Single-Plane Swing

I think Jim Hardy would disagree with your definition of "single plane swing."

There are a LOT of very successful single plane swingers… using the more classic "left arm matches the shoulder plane at the top" definition.

*left picture : dual plane swing

red line : shaft club at setup.

yellow line : shaft club at impact

*right picture : setup and impact are the same plane.

Good luck with that, though. Jim Hardy's definition is far more common.

Unless you're being really picky about the "one-plane swing" and the "single plane swing." But most people are probably going to consider those the same.

I think most people refer to Moe's swing as a Single Axis swing as opposed to a single plane swing

maybe I have to make another thread, that for people discuss about swing that have "same plane at setup and impact" (i dont even know exactly what it called)....?

Start a new topic. Or use one of the many existing ones.

There aren't going to be many places where people swing like Moe Norman exclusively. It's a pretty small audience, and a very narrow topic.
