Are there any reviews here on this?  I keep getting spam mail on the Swing Caddie 2 for $289.  I just wonder how accurate it is, and how it would compare to Trackman's basic functions. I do not think it can indicate angles, but mostly distance, ball and clubhead speeds, and smash factor.

Never mind. I found a few excellent reviews online. Not a whole lot different than Swing Speed Radar, but does have a few other features and marginally more accurate. (also costs more).

Did you end up getting one? Curious to hear how it works for you.

naw, just a little curious also. Right now, all I have is a Garmin GPS Watch. It will give me distances to pins, lay ups, hazards, and also shot distance. It also maintains running score which can be uploaded to a computer to compare scores with others, maintain record e.t.c.  Swing and ball speed would be nice to know, but not a necessity.

Hoping for the same since I can't find a support blog for Swing Caddie.  I bought one and have tried it on smal buckets the last to days.  At this point, I am totally disappointed with it.  Having tried it with all of my clubs from sand edge to driver and almost every shot gives the same yardage of 100-100 yards even though I can see that my drives and woods are  traveling upwards of 200 yards.  I figure there has to be a catch or they would not be selling any.  I've heard of satisfied customers but I'd like to hear from them as to what might be wrong.  Cold, wet weather?  Dirty range balls?

I assume that you are setting the appropriate club for each shot?

Oh sure.  Setting club and correct loft for each shot.  Something has to be wrong though for my drive to sale over the 200 yard marker at the range (confirmed ith laser) and to hear 102 yards total.

I recently bought one and got to use it for the first time. My experience was luckily the opposite. I used it on pw, 9i, 3w and driver.  It was my first range session this year but I was seeing numbers that were pretty spot on from what I was hitting last year. I never got an outlier high or low that wasn't seen with my eyes. If I duffed one it showed it. Some were better due to the effort I put in this winter to improve but over all I was happy with the purchase of this unit.

I thought I had found the problem but not so fast.  I realized that the mat at the range is really elevated about two to three inches above the concrete pad and the Swing Caddie was sitting flat on the concrete.  So I brought some things to elevate the unit.  Some of my first irons shots seemed to register higher yardages closer to hat I knew them to be.  As I went to the driver I got a 215 yard measurement which is much closer to reality (I only average around 220 but am trying to break in a new driver),  However my joy was dashed as subsequent shots landing within 5 yards of the first all were back to reporting 102 to 115.  I'm quite frustrated with the lack of accuracy and next week I may try it at a range with grass tees here I don't have to worry about different elevations.

I read somewhere else that some who were getting weird readings set it up behind them on a slight angle instead of behind on a straight line. That seemed to be a fix for them.

Thanks. I'll try it.  In your mind, you don't mean vertically but rather off to an angle on the horizon.  Might work since I noticed that it picked up practice sings I did that weren't in line with it.

Yes. Instead of directly behind the ball, just offset it on an angle. Still the same level. I don't know which way. I spose you could try to the left and right and see what works better. I think the other thing is where the sun is at. People had some problems if the sun was blaring right at it.

For what it's worth, I've found that most of my inaccuracies were due to the mat I was hitting off of at my local range.  Once the grass mats opened up, I could just place the device behind me and it reported shots fairly accurately.
