Student lifts up lead leg and replants it, but around A6 - A7, look at the reading, it's all in the trail leg, and then zips back to the lead leg. You may find it difficult to stop the video at the exact time, screencaps are at the bottom. 79 in trail leg around A6 and 97 a foot or so before A7.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Probably an issue with the software and/or sensors. The mat wasn't designed for the dumb crap this kid is doing.

No, nothing weird about it.

I downloaded the video and looked at it frame by frame. Clearly:

  • He lifts his foot.
  • He plants it again.
  • He extends his left knee, but actually gets a cm off the ground or so. You can see his left foot pivot. It's able to do that because it's just off the ground.
  • His arms/torso pull his weight through after he re-lands on his left foot.
