Suddenly a hook after a lifetime of slicing!

First swings of the season were last week at the range (off a mat).  Last season I really straightened out a slice with both irons and my driver, though not consistently.  Determined I was not shifting weight to the back foot enough on backswing, and vise versa on follow through after contact.  Many of my lower iron and driver balls were hooking.  Am i getting hips around too far ahead of my arms? Am i shifting weight inappropriately or disproportionately?  No idea what i did or changed because it feels the same as last season.

Hi @Inthetrap, I think best to post a video of your swing so that you don't get misleading diagnosis. You can create a 'My Swing' thread and some of the knowledgeable folks on the website will chime in.

Good luck! Isn't it funny and frustrating at the same time how every new season starts with a brand new ailment?

Where does the ball start? Left or right before the hook?
