So i played with a guy the other day and we went out and bought some cheap wedges and grinding down everything so it was completely bare and I loved how blank it was. A perfect canvas to put whatever stamping I wanted on a club. I don't have many tools at home but I was gifted a dremel4000 set that I've actually never used and I wanted to try my hand at it.

I know it will strip weight from the club, and that's ok because I'll add tape as I need to when I'm finished. I just want a completely blank clubhead.

Ive searched different forums and read the instructions for the dremel and I need a bit of help. I just want to know what attachment to use to Grind off the logos. I imagine the actual cutting wheel would be a bit much so I'm guessing the super heavy grit sanding bit for it but I don't want to screw it up horribly my first go around

It depends on how much patience you have. If you use one of the Dremel grinding stones, opt for a less aggressive one to start and take your time.  The Dremel will be hard to control if you are too aggressive.

Once you remove the logo, you will have to smooth the area with finer sander bits. Keep in mind that you are removing the chrome coating and it will rust without protection.

As soon as you turn on the dremel, that ship will have sailed! ;-)

Have fun, and show us some before, during, and after pics.   Sounds like it'll be interesting to follow.

Bench grinder is the only way to go for getting it all off. Dremel with take forever.

I realized this as I read more stuff this morning. I'll be returning the dremel if I can find the gift receipt for it and try to find a relatively affordable bench grinder.

Turns out out I can find blanks online to which is cool. Gonna try my hand at it, the concept itself seems very easy, but I'm sure actually doing it will be somewhat tough. I'll update once I get wedge to Grind.

    • Typically less than 50. I find this can be affected by the "CART" signs on a given course. I don't like taking my rangefinder out of the cart and carrying it around to the green. I am very fearful I will leave it somewhere.
    • First ever holed out greenside bunker shot! It's crazy it took this long to finally get one during a round, but the cold streak is officially over. Hole 6 on the Palmer Course at PGAN. I hit my driver like 225 into a really stiff wind, then worm burned a hybrid into the bunker. I was about I dunno, 40-45 feet away. Birdie! Let's go! The red Xs the approximate location of each shot.  Really fun!!
    • Day 23: Rained all day, so no ball hitting. Worked indoors on top of the backswing feel, and also putted around the living room working on bead.
    • Played Four Oaks in Dracut today going back to the 2 man scramble match play format. My brother and I shot a team 81 winning 3 and 2. Had so many good shots today using a more centered turn. Seems to have really iginited my golf game. We'll see if I can keep it going.
    • I read about him.  Hopefully we have a good “Next Generation” in PGAT future
